New Bull at Glenarm

Hussar of Upsall, sale leader at 9,500gns

Beef Shorthorn bulls sold to a top of 9,500gns whilst females led the trade at 4,800gns at the society’s spring sale in Stirling on Monday 1 February.

“Quality bulls accompanied by high breeding values met a ready demand from suckler producers during what was a sticky sale underpinned by the current beef farming climate, yet trade for females continued as strong as ever with an 88% clearance,” commented breed society secretary, Frank Milnes.
